Powers retirement pages

Barry retires with 2714 hits, 227 HR, 1089 RBI, 1297 runs, and a 78.9 WAR.

Barry ranks 69th in hits and 47th in WAR, just behind Jeter at 79.16.

Barry was a 5 time allstar, 4 time gold glover, Playoff MVP, and a championship winner.

Wow, just missed back to back championships. Awesome season though, especially after the Yankees put me on the bench for a year. Hopefully I can keep it up this year. Texas has rejuvinated me.

Still reading, even though I retired. I was wondering if you could tell me where King ranked? Did he ever get the title of most times Hit By a Pitch? Also, it must be easier now that everyone is old and retired!

King Ranked 91st in hits, 18th in HP, 129th in WAR. He is right on the cusp of potentially getting in the Hall...if he had more allstar appearances, that might have pushed him into a lock to get in, but right now it is probably really close.

King is 4th in alltime WAR for Philly, 3rd in games played, 3 in AB, 4th in runs, 5th in hits, and 2nd in Hit by pitch...he is pretty much all over the top 10 for them. No doubt they would retire his number.
