Making bulk copies of teams/players
Hey all
I'm looking to do some tests on OOTP, and need to create multiple teams where the players are exactly the same in regards outside the tested areas. Anyone know how this could be done outside of manually creating and editing hundreds of players? |

if "clone player" works while highlighting more than one ("select all"), then you can have billions of the same player with ~30clonings.
if that doesn't work... make a player on the first team alphabetically (abbreviation, not name) that fits what you want. should be the first team in the export and easier to find... export players so you can work with it in a spreadsheet program (openoffice is free). find his playerid (use "find"). copy all but his playerID over all other players in the league. i'm not sure how this works but maybe turning off development or changing Aging and TCR to limit change will help you? i know it's way easier exporting data rather than restarting hte same year over and over again. also, if player turnover is involved in anything, you'll only get a slice of the picture.
