Fictional League All-Time Great Player Disappears

I created a fictional league from scratch and have been simulating multiple seasons. I am in 2039 and one of the best pitchers in league history just retired. I have been watching to see if he will be the first member of the Hall of Fame. Then, as I progressed the game to the beginning of the next season, he disappeared. I can still see the transaction where he retired, but his profile no longer exists and he has been removed from all of the career leaderboards. I think this must be a bug as I have the game setup to retain as much information as possible.

Please help.

Maybe try posting in the General Discussions to see if you can get some feedback... A lot of the main guys around here are really busy with OOTP18 testing and getting it ready for its upcoming release...
