100 percent spoof! Also, would love to know if anyone has a year pinned down for the Paepke. Never seen a photo of him anywhere with a stache. But I've eliminated my other suspects as well, specifically Steve Patchin. (Eyebrows wrong) Great job detectives.

I would go with 1974 judging by the unis and the fact that he was briefly with the Royals that season.

I remember getting his autograph as a kid (Royals 1st season, to be exact) and I also had at one point a copy of the 1971 Who's Who In Baseball (he was in it). He was very friendly and we chatted when i met him. The 74 pic..even with longer hair and the mustache...recognized him right off.

I located woodcuts of the elusive Dugan brothers of the 1884 Richmond Virginians. William also played for the Kansas City Cowboys that year.
