Gripe with defensive positioning
I've been playing '18 for a few weeks now and one thing I'm becoming incensed by is contact going for hits even though I've positioned my defense in the perfect spot to make the out. I'll arrange shifts in relation to hitter tendency and (NOT always) even if the ball is hit right to the defender, it goes by for a hit. Its almost as if the AI engine doesn't give a s*** how you counter them, they've already decided that this BIP will fall for a hit.
I know the game can't be perfect but surely there is a modification that can be made? Otherwise, what's the point of being able to shift the defense. |

I think we'd need to see some specific plays where this is happening to you, reported as per the instructions in the initial post of the 3d movement thread.
