Playing in 1 game and getting 2 At Bats, Dashiell is nicely pictured here in White Sox garb courtesy of RMY Auctions. I have no idea who is pictured in his place on Baseball Reference, but I doubt it's Dashiell.

Recent weeks saw the Topps Vault auction off an image of Jose Morales with the imbedded Vault ID of KG319. Only thing is, the image was never shown!
I bid a fair amount on it but lost out. I was hoping that someone on this board won it and would be willing to share the image with us, watermarked however you like. I was just hoping to have a record of the image.

I'm not sure I understand the issue. KG319 is, indeed, KG319... which means it was posted in the folders before Topps shut them down. It was pretty SRO for Topps to NOT post for sale an image or two from most folders. Months later, when you'd forgotten about the images not offered, they'd turn up. It was occasionally a tad maddening to me as I only ID'd my photos as Topps offered them for sale (because I found the madness here and at B-B even more maddening), so I'd be left with a blank (unless I recognized the dude, which I usually did). When Topps reset the Vault so that parked images would not be visible, all the previously parked images were no longer compatible with eBay posting, for some reason. But you should have Mr. Morales already in your KG folder. If you don't, here he is.

Ah, well you see, that's because Rainmaker provided the wrong number. Jerry Morales is KG319. That # was NOT among recent Vault postings. I went to eBay and checked the completed listings this time and, yes, it was Jose Morales...but it was KG320, not KG319. Same stuff that I said still applies. The image is in the folders that were available before the Vault shut them down. And here...is the appropriate image of JOSE Morales (KG320).

Not at all a cretin. Not even trying to imply that. "To err is human. To forgive is a Mets fan" (used to be, anyway). For that matter, how bright am I that my brain didn't distinguish between Jerry and Jose Morales (my only thought was, hey, I know that guy...former Met). My only point is that I'm assuming you've maintained the files for your own head on your own hard drive. If you see an old file designation and an image that doesn't show up, search that folder or number and it should appear. If it doesn't, well...then, Houston, we have a (small) problem.

Seen that one two new people have made posts and inquiries in the last day or two. I'm a long way from being anything official around (probably the opposite), but I want these people to know they are welcome I will do my level best to answer any questions they might have without sarcasm or any tone of superiority. Hope that others will do the same.
Hopefully, we are all interested in the pursuit of information, knowledge, white whales and unicorns. Together.

Tough as a Met in my experience, though he spent both '96 and '97 in camp. This is obviously a spring training shot, as he's wearing a number in the 70s, and was found at Sports Memorabilia. I've been known to enjoy over-saturation from time to time, but I backed it off on this one A LOT. And it could probably still use some de-saturation. Still.....Gary Thurman as a Met.
