Would anybody be able to zip up and send me the last bunches of pics from the vault from November 2016 on? I'm not trying to rock the boat but if you could send them in a pm.
Thanks, BRobby05 |

Fred Howard 1979
In 1980 I pulled about 15 Fred Howard calls out of packs of Topps. I know this was 5 times more than any other card I pulled that year...every time I see that card I remember feeling frustrated as a kid that I kept pulling Fred Howard instead of getting cards to finish my Royals team set. Of course, this was Fred's only Topps card and I was fascinated to see his 1980 TV release last night...that cherubic face has been replaced by Disco curly hair and a perfect era mustache.
Fred became a prospect after the 1978 season when he was 12-6 with a 3.37 E.R.A and 109 K in 139 IP for the White Sox AA club. He began 1979 at AAA Iowa going 4-1 with a 2.39 E.R.A Howard pitched in 28 big league games with 6 starts (all in 1979) going 1-5 with a 3.57 E.R.A with his only big league win coming on June 9th in Milwaukee. He started that game and gave up 1 R over 7 IP allowing 5 H and striking out 4. He pitched for the White Sox AAA club in 1980 going 6-10 with a 5.02 E.R.A before injuries side tracked his career. He missed all of 1981 and returned in 1982 pitching in just 4 games. He pitched in 2 games for the White Sox AA team in 1983 and was done. T |

Hey all, I'm still working on my Cubs project... looking for a little help for some pictures of a couple guys.
1. Still looking for Barry Foote. Can't believe I can't find anything on him. 2. Pat Tabler. I can find some pics of older cards, but I'd like to find a cleaner pic. 3. Rawly Eastwick. I found a B&W, but nothing color. 4. Junior Kennedy 5. Dickie Noles Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again! |

Barry Foote 1973
Though I realize that you're looking for a pristine Topps Vault image of Foote, I thought this slightly cleaned up baseball card version might suffice until one surfaces.

Thanks all! I'll be able to use a majority of those. I might try to colorize the B & W Foote.

Ahoy! White Whales dead ahead!
Seems like everyone needs the same players or certain teams. In recent weeks, I found several things I'd been seeking for years. In the spirit of Christmas, I freely share them with you. If someone here makes a claim, why didn't you share them yourself?
WorthPoint allows you to see nearly everything sold on eBay over the last half-dozen years or so. I found and customized a Braves issue of Bob Didier in the early 70s blue-and-white that Aaron wore when he broke Ruth's record. Seen Didier in B&W before, but never in color. Had a pro remove the autograph. I'd always been annoyed as a young collector that Chuck Harrison, in his year with the Braves, was not on a Topps card, and only this year (thanks to WorthPoint) did ever see a photo of him in ATL uniform (as opposed to Richmond). Had a pro colorize it and made a custom 68 (at last). Found this Leon Wagner at the same time as Harrison, and found out the hard way how much it costs to have a pro colorize an image like this. Never seen a Reds Wagner in color, so here's the next closest thing. Good fortune allowed me to cross paths with Bruce at ABC Unlimited, who primarily sells autographed cards but also is aware of rarely seen players. He had Brace(?) photos of two guys I'd been seeking in color, Bob Taylor (Giants '70) and Vern Geishert (Angels '69). If anyone else had been seeking these, Merry Christmas! Doug Ault 1976
I've always had annoyingly bad baseball card images of Ault in my collection. I like this upgrade.
