Restart OOTP. Maybe this helps

Set up a standard game as the Red Sox GM, and played the first game of the season against the Tampa Bay Rays using the new modern 3D. Great job. I like the animation so much better than before. The players look like players now, was able to move widgets here and there to make the screen how I liked it. Sound was great.

I'd say the new 3D game play makes it worth the price of the upgrade alone, regardless of other features.

Oh, and I got to test out the 3D A LOT, because as the Sox I won 6-5 in 18 innings! First game of the season.

This is a pretty awesome upgrade from what I see. The visuals are great. Again, I mentioned before how great it is to the eyes. The 3D anis are real nice, also. I can see where there will be some tweaking here and there but no big fix in that department. Spent some time just browsing around to see where everything is at. Very impressed with the whole thing. Two thumbs up to everyone. Things color coded very nicely. Love it.

Still in transfer mode of my league from OOTP 18, it's been over 4 hours now and "Optimizing Team Transactions table: 171,655 records done", and still counting.

So my first impression, it's a longgggggggg wait.

I'm loving the Champions League like tournament mode. This will make for a perfect European Cup setup in the European Leagues. Fri-Sun Regular Season Games, Tues/Wed European Cup games.

Just for a visual's sake, here's what my league creation page looks before I complete step one. As you can see "Advanced Mode" is greyed out. I have to complete step one before I can get into Advanced Mode. I'd rather go straight to Advanced Mode if possible. I think it's been possible for me to do this before, so I'm puzzled that this is happening now.

EDIT: Never mind. Just checked OOTP18, and I've never been able to do this before. Oops.

My first impressions are overwhelmingly positive. The fact alone that we can now add as many individual name sets and ethnicities to the game that we want was more than worth the price of admission for me. Add to that the stunning (Yes, stunning) new 3D animations and equally impressive new fictional team logos, and this year's version is a grand salami.

Simply select "Create custom game" from the main screen

Were you able to set this up? I can't seem to figure it out unless I pick specific teams from each league. How do I do it so it takes the league winners each year or top two, etc?

We don't currently have automatic team selection yet for this. We'll look to add that later.

The game looks great, both the game screens and in the ballparks! i love the tabs on team home screen. i know the button pushes to edit your lineup is the same but it seems easier and it seems everything you need is right in front of your face. except of course the stuff the isn't whatever that might be?

I really really like it ...

I like the score/schedule page with the starting pitchers next to each other, and I really like this "bold" scoreboard ... and I wish we could drag&drop the out-of-town scoreboard

I took a look at the 3D-stuff and I really liked it - I just wish there was an opportunity to simply watch the game at a pace where you set the RTS ... just set the speed at "5" and sit back and watch the game
