No September Expanded Rosters?

I don't personally like to use them, but those that do may be disappointed to see that there is no way to set them up on the Game Settings > League Settings > Rules > Roster Rules page. They're usually there, but I don't see them this year. Thanks.

They're still there, nothing changed with them.

Hrmmm...Maybe they're not in Historical Random Debut then. I don't see anywhere where you can control the size of rosters or whether you even want them, and I've searched high and low. I'll see what happens on September 1st. DUNH! DUNH! DUNH!

N.B.: I am using no minor leagues and unlimited reserve rosters which may be affecting this.

Yes, the option doesn't exist without a 40-man roster, which in turn doesn't exist without minor leagues iirc.

Next question...If I can't set it on the Rules page, how do I stop expanded rosters from happening?

Oh man, please don't tell me expanded rosters are required now.....please! I despise them in real life and want no part of them in OOTP.

They might be if we use reserve rosters and no minors. Unless we can figure some sort of workaround out.

Just as a point of reference, here's my OOTP18 Rules page followed by my OOTP19 Rules page. As you can see, I played with no minors and unlimited reserve rosters in both versions, but the dialogue/settings regarding September/Expanded Rosters is not there in OOTP19, so I can't set it. I've been told that if I check the Rules page on September 1st, the setting to change it will be there. We shall see.

Ugh. It's Sept. 1st, 1902 in my test league, and the Rules page looks exactly the same as what I posted.

Feels like this gets broken every 2nd patch or so. Looking through, I don't see why we wouldn't allow an expanded roster limit even if you're not using 40-man rosters. I don't know if it's me arguing with myself, but we should be able to bring that option back for the next patch.

Yay! I hate expanded rosters. The rules should be the same all season long in my book.

Agreed. Although I usually compromise in my leagues and have them expand to 30.
