'Ratings Relative To' Menu

Afternoon all.

Any idea what is going on with the 'ratings relative to' menu here - it is obscuring the history and editor tabs on the player profiles.

Here's another couple of examples of issues with the text cramped in the wrong place. See the irritating 'challenge mode' mess on the player profiles and the 'pitch by pitch' running into the 'defense' text on the game screen.

Is it something I need to tinker with in the settings to fix? It's cosmetic only, but it's ugly...

Any ideas hive mind?

This is a weird screen resolution... I suggest increasing it so you have more space for the GUI elements.

Hi, no change to skin at all. Could be a screen resolution thing though - do you mean under settings - window size? I've tinkered with all the options there and it doesn't seem to change anything.

Not sure if it is connected but I keep getting the '5 files failed to validate and will be reacquired' message when I verify the integrity of game files. It does not seem to matter how many times I verify - the same message pops up each time I re-open Steam and validate files. Might not be connected - but seems odd. I have uninstalled and re-installed once already and it doesn't make a difference.

I wouldn't be surprised if something odd like that resulting in something odd. It does look like you altered the font from default. Can you post a picture of your Settings screen, where the screen size, font, etc.. are listed?

Hi Endgame,

Here are my current settings - I changed the font type and size to small to see if that would help - but it hasn't. Window size to match my monitor settings.

THought the patch today might have jiggled something, but doesn't look like it, sadly.

One of those settings has a Maximized selection available. Have you tried that?

I've tried that too (although I hate it being there - habit, I suppose). It changes nothing in the game screen and makes the most insignificant change to the player profile screen.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything again today, including deleting all the historical ballparks etc and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Very frustrating.

When uninstalling for an issue like this it's pretty important to make sure you get rid of the folder that has the settings in it, which a typical uninstall will not always do.

First try uninstalling the game. After doing so, would you check
both your steam directory and your documents folder and make sure that
anything related to the game has been deleted from both folders.
Lastly would you check your user folder for a (possibly hidden)
folder. The directory should look something like this:

C:\Users\My Name (or whatever your username on your pc
is)\AppData\Roaming\Out of the Park Developments. Once you're in that
folder, then delete the entire OOTP Baseball19 folder.

After you do all this then restart your pc and try re-installing the game again.

I can't find any trace of the Appdata/Roaming file, but I've purged everything else - including workshop files and I'll give it another go.

Argh. No change, unfortunately. I wonder if there is something hidden somewhere though because it had remembered my last settings so surely it must have stored this info somewhere? Where though? I haven't a clue.

I managed to find the appdata folder. Deleted it. Reinstalled. Same problem. I give up.
