From a current eBay auction, Mound men Ira Hutchinson (identified as "Bill") and Lou Fette of the 1937 Boston Bees. I hate that yellow shows as black in B&W. Pain in my butt. Ends up looking cartoonish (tried to offset by giving it a felt-like look, but...). I used the yellow card border because, well, the Philly Bluebirds are out there, too. And you get two versions of the final--the second one de-noised a bit. Click for full size and take your pick. Plus the card, of course. John of Baseball Birthdays fame does much better with the Bees, but it was worth a shot.

Hope that I am not stepping on any toes awile back Fatjack put out a fred Stanley card with Tony Perez as a Kansas City Royal thought that I would have fun and make the card a Perez/Royal card

Though it pisses me off that this will end up all over the web in about an hour with no credit given, I might as well. I suppose. Grrr. Well, at least I want to give Krantz a break.

Always loved Roy Foster for the time he spent in the Mets system. And, somewhere, I'm sure there's a Vault image of him in Pilots garb. Some time ago, I was asking for a good image of the man--any good image of the man--and I eventually purchased the B&W wire photo of Roy on his first day with the Indians in 1970. This is why I was asking. What you'll usually hear me say about my colorizations is "Not my best work." Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is my best work. Ever. Yes, I swear, I really did this all by myself without help from anyone. That's how proud of this freakin' SOB I am, that I feel the need to say that. I believe I used Dave Baldwin's body, but I don't entirely recall. I do recall that I drained the color from the body and colorized it, so that you wouldn't have a colorized head on a photo color body (though, in the end, I don't think that made a difference).

VERY COOL!! Thanks so much. Still trying to learn to do this myself. with no luck. You need to be very much giving credit. You do an AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!. Glad to see any Pilots . THANKS again for the showing the Foster card

io Chacon. was in minor league camp in the spring of 1970 Seattle Pilots. My not so great attempt of a Seattle Pilot Cap on Chacon. He played for the Portland Beavers that year. If anyone can put a better Pilot cap. Would Appreciate. Thanks to any response.
