A no-hitter!!!
I have played thousands of simulated baseball games. Sports Illustrated, Sher-Co 2, Strat-O-Matic and now OOTP19.
Eight games into it and Lefty Grove of the 1930 Philadelphia As no-hits the 1966 Baltimore Orioles. 12ks in his 9-inning shutout! Anyone else have a no-no? And are these common in OOTP play? |

Stroman tossed a PERFECT GAME vs the Athletics for me on 05-19-2018
That is the only impressive thing he as done. |

He's not on my team but Aaron Nola pitched a perfect game against the Nationals in 2022. Now in 2024, he has won 4 Cy Youngs, had 2 1-hit 1-walk shutout, 2 3-hit no-walk shutout and a 2-hit no-walk shutout in addition to the perfect game. And he walked a total of 9 batters over 222 innings in 2019.

Playing as GM only I've had a couple no hitters, but never when playing as manager.

Lost a no hitter in the 9th with E-rod coming off the dl first game back. Never expected it and didnt realize until the 7th

John Denny '83 in Statis Pro
First sim game I ever bought was SPB in '84. Second game I ever played, Denny no-hit his former club with a 3-0 Phils win at St. Louis.
Played thousands of games using multiple tabletop and digital formats since then. Haven't tossed another one. |
