Rest status not reset after day off?
Maybe I am wrong (and this might be tied to issues others have reported about fatigue) but I am playing historical, 3 year recal, double weighted, 1902. My manager who has lineup control is starting a centerfielder (Mike Lynch)with about 40 ABs IRL The lineup depth chart is not showing a backup even though there is another player with primary position being LF but does have a rating for CF(Roy Clark). After a 100 games Lynch has played every inning even though he continually shows up at the start of every game as exhausted. Even after the team has an off day Lynch will show up as the starter for the next game still exhausted. I may be wrong but I thought after a day off position players were suppose to be rested. I took over control of the lineup and on lineup screen I listed Clark to start if Lynch was tired. I then noticed Clark started the next 3 games as I expected. Lynch did not play at all for those 3 days and his rest status going into those 3 games was 0%, 0%, and 0%. Going into to 4th game his rest status was at 8%. I notice some players on other teams had players starting games that were exhausted. I guess I should have let Lynch continue to miss games to see how long it would have taken him to recover but I went into league functions and reset the fatigue for all players.
I am playing with fatigue set on average. My 2 concerns are
1. I might be wrong but after a day off, I thought player would be rested.
2. Why did Lynch play completely exhausted (or have a backup listed)even though there is a bench player that has a secondary rating for that position and is not listed as a backup for anyone.
Anyway, I notice others were having issues with fatigue so I thought I would add my fatigue issue since it might help pinpoint the cause if these are tied together.
