Position Playrer Fatigue problem
Having simulated a 2018 MLB season I was astounded by the number of games played by position players:
Simulated 2018 season, Players with more than 154 games : 66 159 games : 23 MLB 2017 Players with more than 154 games: 39 159 games: 8 The Position Player Fatigue rating is at Average (default), the Injury rating at High (Modern Day MLB). I'm certain some tweaking is neccessary here. Last edited by khucke; 04-28-2018 at 02:54 AM. |

A follow-up to my previous post:
I made another simulation run with the Position Player Fatigue rating set at HIGH. Number of players with more than 159 games : 8 Number of players with more than 154 games : 44 These numbers are more in line with real life. So the HIGH setting seems to be the correct one for realistic modern-day results. |

fwiw, i think related things were being tweaked for at least the last 2-3 patches... and may continue to affect what you are seeing.
leads to a rhetorical question -- this is on most recent update, correct?. a definite change in last patch would affect what you see in GS. |

Yes , latest patch. Both the simulated numbers and the real-life MLB 2017 numbers are for Games not Games Started. |

Thanks for this. I've often thought players were playing too much compared to their real-life counterparts but I've never done the research to prove it. Good to know my eyes weren't deceiving me.
