Both of your efforts are tremendously appreciated. I keep expecting one of both of these guys to turn up in color in Vault releases, but with two good B&W shots like this, I can't imagine a better alternative image for these two nearly-forgotten players. Bond, I believe, had leukemia and died in September of 1967 at age 29. Hill drowned while in Venezuela for winter league ball. He was only 25.

Would someone consider doing a color job on this image of Don Wilson. There are precious few shots of him outside of his actual cards. This is better than most of them. Thanks in advance, and thanks to all that has been done on request before.

1935 Cleveland Indians, 1944 Boston Braves the only 2 years he played MLB

He also played one year of NFL with the 1930 Frankford Yellow Jackets as a running back. From Oklahoma State.

I keep requesting color jobs because I keep finding things like this. Larry Doby, first Africa-American to play in ther American League, was dealt by the White Sox in December to the Orioles as part of massive seven-man trade. But on April 1st, no fooling, he was reacquired by his original team, the Indians, as they made an offer the Orioles couldnt refuse: Bud Daley, Dick Williams and Gene Woodling, and his Baltimore career was over before it began. This was apparently taken for the team's photo pack to be sold at Memorial Stadium. How many and for how long I hve no idea.

This was actually an official Braves Player Pack image, but the timing of the Braves' moves involving Crowley made color of him a longshot. He was acquired in a trade with the Reds April 7,at the end of camp, and was released on May 6. In between, he was 0-for-6 as a pinch-hitter (but with an RBI!).

Please take your best colorization shot. It is likely to stand as the only color Crowley.
