ER's = 11 ERA = 0.00 Huh?

How do you allow 11 ER's and still have an ERA of 0.00?

The ERA is actually infinity but OOTP does not display that symbol. The pitcher has no innings pitched, and you cannot divide by zero.

Edit: The ERA shown is for the postseason only.

My guess - has to do with 0 IP's. He never retired a batter, so technically he didn't pitch.

The ERA is infinite since no outs were recorded. In many cases this is just shown as 0.

Also.. ouch.

If it helps, once he retires a batter his ERA will be 297.03.

Don't know why, but the fact that it's ".03" at the end just cracks me up. Like, 297 wasn't bad enough, just had to add this tiny fraction more.

Sadly, it is just 297, that was some sort of rounding error.

Much worse - Gm 2 of the ALDS

If you're gonna suck, might as well get it all out of your system at once

He finished the post season with a 2-2 record, 8.31 Era, but most importantly a WS Ring.

Probably worse than Bundy's start was recently, where he gave up 4 HR in 7 hitters without an out. -22 game score would be the worst post-WW2 game score in MLB history.
