having trouble with custom awards
I can't get my custom award to show up in the league history or have it assigned to the player. Here are my steps:
1. I named my custom award in the league setup (the league is already like 20 seasons in). 2. the custom award does show up in the league history under awards 3. I have my awards setup to allow AI Voting 4. I open up my ballot and I manually pick the winner for the AL and NL custom award and vote on the other awards. I do not completely finish the ballot though (i don't bother with gold glove or silver slugger awards) but I do submit it. 5. The awards are given out but after the MVP award is given out, the custom award listing in the league history is still blank and the players I chose do not have an award. There is also no notification that my custom award has been given like the other awards have (although I don't think that's supposed to happen anyways). What did I miss? Nevermind mind I figured it out myself. Here is the solution for other poeple that search for this problem.
*You can not use the Vote ballot option where you submit your vote and the AI GMs vote as well if you plan on awarding a custom award. While your custom award shows up as a choice nothing happens when the awards are given out for the custom award. *instead you need to use the submit manual awards tab right next to it. You have to click on the ask the computer button which fills in the award winners for everyone except the custom award. You then drop in the players for the custom award. Once you submit this ballot all awards are given out at once with basically one AI vote per award (unless you manually pick the winners for other awards as well). *By doing this you lose the fun of the AI and you voting and seeing who got votes as awards are periodically announced. Bummer. Hopefully this is fixed one day. Last edited by andyhdz; 07-12-2018 at 02:38 PM. |
