No Challenge Mode or Perfect Team on Linux

Sorry if this has been posted before or this is the wrong spot.

I recently bought OOTP 19 after heavily playing previous versions. One of the things I loved about last year was the addition of Challenge mode, and I was looking forward to trying the perfect team feature in 19.

However, I now see that at the bottom it says the Challenge and Perfect team are not available for Linux!!

What is the reasoning behind this? Linux had Challenge mode last year. I understand that 99% of the user base won't be on linux but I feel that challenge mode was an important feature for hardcore players.
