This happened to me as well, with Yasmani Grandal and Carlos Martinez both being removed from my active roster and made inactive. They were replaced with two common cards that I didn't remember ever obtaining (Erick Fedde and Hunter Pence) (my memory could be off though, I've tended to ignore the common cards while opening packs). I definitely didn't place them on the active roster though.

Oh, I see now, I hit the maximum number of cards allowed. I assume that random cards are chosen to make inactive when this occurs while opening packs or some such?

EDIT: I take it back, those two, along with Roy Cullenbine, were deactivated again, and I wasn't opening new packs and had made room on my reserve roster.

Make sure you properly submit your team after doing changes please. Best time to submit is before the simulation starts.

I had this issue yesterday after I spent 20 mins painstakingly strategizing my team against my next opponent. The sim went through and my team was all jacked. Dummy here did not hit submit team. Doh.

I guess this doesn't really belong in the bug forum anymore, but the solution to my original problem was to change the PT setting for how to handle gaining new cards when the active roster is at it's 200 card limit. By default, it's set to allow the AI to handle the roster, and the AI will do silly things. Changing the setting to deactivate any new cards instead will keep the AI from doing bad things to your active roster.
