I'll guess the "HUGE" is a schedule creator - not one based on pre-set schedules but one you can work with on the fly.

I am in.
I hope the "20th Anniversary Edition of OOTP" comes with a coupon for quality German beer, or something equally suitable for such an occasion!!

Yup, a "Build your own 3D Ballpark" feature... this is extremely hard to do, because it needs to be easy to use and have a lot of possibilities at the same time. And anything 3D is a massive PITA to develop, trust me.
![]() But, it'll be worth it. And this is something that both the core game and PT will benefit from, so everybody wins. |

Well, happy for those who have been asking for this sort of thing.
Was really hoping for something big like a complete makeover of the history section ala BBRef. Something where the user can query pretty much anything they wish to. Maybe 22/23 will see that. |

I think you're right, if it's a team adding a new ballpark as seasons pass. But there also needs to be a way for people to create fictional ballparks they can use from the start without being tied to any financial component.

Along this same path, I wonder if the AI will be able to create ball parks? I play as a spectator and it would be cool to watch new stadiums come into play over time. Also, I really hope this will be a feature us 2D players can use as well.

OK, so here is my question of the day:
Will it ever get to the point where the stand alone program gets so huge, it will have to be broken up into separate apps all bundled together? Like, the stadium builder will be a separate app, Perfect team would have to be a separate app, Historical play would be a separate app... etc... |

I would imagine anything with the scheduler would be considered improving a current feature. He was speaking to big new features that should be coming sometime down the road.

I'm looking for a scheduler where YOU can design the schedule to your liking.

That would be really cool. Probably a right arse to implement depending on how the database works, however. Unless, of course, you want to re-write the whole database engine, which would be even more of an arse.

i think there were several of us years ago that put in a suggestion to do things like build new stadium or move out of town game as played out in real life seemingly every 20 to 30 years now. Plus the govt nonsense that goes with it. Plus consessions and parking lot take either to own all of it or simply lease it out for both. It was said the idea was liked but would be saved for later versions and with what I have seen from years ago to today I don't become a nucience asking for it as their background on the game of which obviously includes eye candy has been a remarkable work in progress and would take up tons of time. I forget many features we once had but eventually went away

Unless something has changed I don't think MLB even has a schedule application? My understanding is the schedule is built by humans. If that's true I'd think they'd pay Markus a nice sum if he could come up with something that worked.
