Rule 5 Draft Protections and various

I have tested 3 different Challenge Mode leagues, and in all three, the computer teams have made some weird decisions in the Rule 5 Draft.

In all three, the San Diego Padres have not protected Fernando Tatis Jr, who is the #1 prospect at the time.

In all three, there are at least 35 of the top 100 prospects unprotected.

After year one, some free agents are seriously undervalued. Example, Craig Kimbrel signed a 1 year $12 million deal, and won the NL CY Young. In the next free agency, his demands are for 1 year, $2.1 million as a 5* player

In two of the three the draft order has been wrong, including the World Series Champion picking first.

The first year June Draft is also out of order for year one.
Player nicknames are showing up as glyphs in some cases.

I have a bad habit of playing a season, deleting, and starting over. I am running a season now, and will SS live as I go.

Another bug I have found

Starting position players are able to be put in as primary backups, and secondary backups, even at the same position.

I heard this was a feature. It allows you to program a starter to start in another position if that player is sitting out for a game. So Acuna would start in CF if that player was out.

I'm not too sure what could be done about this, but this has bugged me over the last few years.

A team fires their manager mid season, and hires a highly respected manager as a replacement to a multi year deal, and then fires them in the offseason.

Here's an example where Kansas City fires Joe Girardi after 5 games.

Tatis Jr shouldn't even be Rule 5 eligible so they shouldn't have to protect him.

We looked at this, but unfortunately given that it's well past the date of the Rule 5, there's not enough info to show why this happened.

From what we can see, it's likely that having an expansion team involved is causing some of this. Did Tatis actually go in the expansion draft or the Rule 5?

Can you set up a similar league, expand the same way you did, and then send us the league files from the day before the Rule 5 draft? That might give us some more info.
