Players Getting Called Up During Playoffs

I have the same problem with the final release that I had with the beta that I noted.

I played an entire season of sandbox taking an AHL team to league semi-finals.

A day before the semi-final series is supposed to start I get 4 (yes, 4!) players called up their NHL team.

Now I have 17 players (only 10 are under age 26) and I look at the NHL team's roster and they are sitting at 27 players, what the heck? Oh yeah, did I mention that NHL team didn't even make the playoffs so why would they call up 4 players as they are done for the season!

This happened in my last season that I played through as well and it's very disappointing to make it so far and then have something like this happen.

Can you check if the NHL team has any players away on international duty (the 'INT' status)? I'm wondering if they have guys going to the World Championships and are needlessly calling up replacements.

I just noticed I had 2 players on 'VAC' status, one of them recently returned from an IIHF tournament and one player was promoted from the ECHL.

I've attached a few screenshots, the NHL team is already done for the season and the Stanley Cup finals were played out.

I think the situation is what you suspected. The NHL club had 4 players out for international play and automatically called up 4 players at the worst time for me!

Yeah, that definitely shouldn't be happening, I'll see if we can shut the international replacement stuff off once the team's season is over.

I am having the exact same scenario as shown above. I am in the Path to Glory mode and in the AHL Conference finals, parent NHL team pulls up 5 of my best players leaving me with 18. I am in the red as far as available FA money. Have spent hours trying to find a way around this issue but so far nothing, and cannot even proceed out of the current day. Has there been any resolution to this? Hopefully wont have to trash it and start over....
