Can't find a player
In 1974 I remember watching the Oakland A's on TV. They had a player named, "Herb Washington".
This guy even had his own baseball card. His position was listed as Designated Runner. He played in 94 games. He never played the field, nor did he ever get a chance to bat. Where is he in OOTP. I am unable to import him. Starting a Historical 1974 league. He is not on their roster nor is he in the minor leagues. What happed to him. Was OOTP unaware that this guy ever played baseball? Am I doing something wrong? Edit. Sorry all, I found out what I was doing wrong. I found him. Thank you. Last edited by Pirates; 03-08-2019 at 05:06 PM. |

Just to make sure everyone young reading this knows who Herb Washington was.
He never batted; never played in the field. He was a world-class sprinter used as a pinch-runner so all his stats are stolen base attempts and successes. Another of Charley Finley's great ideas.
