Moving teams up prior to league play

So I was in Bronze for a while, and the last time in Bronze we made the playoffs, won a round, and then played a team with almost all 90+ players.

Now I'm in Silver, and a team in my division has a roster that looks like this:

94
97
97
96
97
94
93
91
95
100
93
95
100
97
90

Now I don't begrudge anyone spending money to enjoy their hobby, but couldn't the leagues be adjusted so that any team with this kind of lineup immediately gets bumped to Platinum? And the same with the team that romped through Bronze with a similar roster?

If I were in Platinum, or maybe Diamond, I wouldn't mind facing that competition because it comes with the territory, but Bronze and Silver leagues should, I think, be a little more equitable.

And I sure don't want to get moved up, as if this is what Bronze and Silver are like, I can't imagine what Gold would be ...

With the same token, can we ask the MLB to move the Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, Cubs, Astros to an MLB+ league of their own?

One thing to consider is that this team of elite players will be earning a buttload of points from achievements while they whoop up on average teams at that level.

In other words, this is an example of an inherent imbalance built into the game mechanics. Discussions such as this are warranted.

(Also, the Astros would have been subject to a ban in this game for violating the TOS by tanking for several years, but that's another topic)

I thought there was a Platinum, but apparently not. I just play the game, really ...

And as for MLB, there is a luxury tax and revenue sharing, so if somebody spends $1,000 and dominates, shouldn't she pay at least pay a tax to everyone else in the league? Or better yet, give us all 10% of her points to divide?

(I'm not serious, of course, but still, why not just kick this team all the way to the top as soon as the roster is set ...)

The game balance is fine. Let them have their good week, they'll be gone from your level in a week. It's a long season.

I agree...also you are making some assumptions that may not be true.

For example...during opening weekend in entry level, I happened to open a pack with a 100 Schmidt. Obviously, I had a huge advantage once the card was sold and I could quickly build a dominant team for the first couple of levels. I didn't spend a bunch of money...I simply got really lucky early which could happen to any of us. That's part of the game and imo, complete parity isn't always much fun either (see NFL).

It is not balanced when the actions of one team distort the points earned in that league.

Please don't make a Platinum level. Platinum has been worth less than Gold for quite a long time now, and is currently only 68% of the value of Gold per ounce. Also, its colour looks too much like Silver anyways.

I would love additional levels in the game that I can pass through before I go up to Perfect and get smashed
