Cursor accuracy issues

Hi guys. Just bought and installed OOTP 20 and am having some frustrating issues with my mouse cursor.

To select a link/menu item, I need to click on the underline OR BELOW, which is counter intuitive. See the image below. If I click 'Los Angeles Dodgers' anywhere between the blue marks, nothing happens. It's not until I click somewhere between the red marks that the link opens.

Is this an issue with my machine, or a setting, or is this just the way the game has been developed?

Also, the menu bar at top of screen obscures an entire line of options/commands.

I really hope this is not how the game has been designed.

Are you on a high resolution device?

Sounds like you might need to change the zoom settings if so. Can you go to your systems display settings and lower the zoom level there? Does that fix things?

I'm just using a regular Dell laptop - nothing too hi spec.

My scaling was 200% (system recommendation is actually 250%) but I reduced it to 100% and result was still the same, and all of my other applications are tiny.
