Just pulled him.. its recommended that he starts, even tho he's listed as a closer.
Anyone have experience with him? Nobody in my league has him, so I can't look up his stats. He also sells for 10k, so not sure what to do with him. |

picked him up a few seasons ago..... been using him as my closer.... he had some stats from a prior team in Perfect league as well.... I was hesitant at first to pick him up as he was dismal for my team in v19; but he's been pretty solid so far in v20 for me

I got him 2 seasons ago and have been starting him, he's been rock solid in Diamond (he is on the Keesters).
Eventually I may move him to the pen but until I can afford more elite SPs, he's holding down the fort, very well. So far he's put up a 4.0 WAR in year one, and has a 3.7 WAR this season, with a 134 ERA+ in both. I have a really good IF defense behind him. |

He is great in the bullpen, even in perfect. He can throw multiple innings and doesn't give up many homers. I have used him in 19 and 20 with great success.

I've been using him as a starter, since the 'ask ai for staff' put him as my #1 starter over Paxton, Halladay, Buehler, Morton, and Price.
Small sample size, 7 GS - 3-2, 2.54 era, 0.9 war. I have Chapman as my closer, so I think I'll keep him in my rotation.. Last edited by acclaim99; 06-29-2019 at 09:47 PM. |
