Submit bid goofiness cost me 1,000 pp a few minutes ago

Note -- it seems that if you try to submit a bid that equals the "buy it now" price, the game literally chooses to "buy it now". That cost me 1,000 pp. It should have just put in a leading bid, since I never had an intention to outright buy the card at the full price unless I absolutely had to. So if you don't want to outright buy a card, I imagine that you have to be careful to bid just under the "buy it now" price.

RTFL, baby. They explicitly told us that would happen. ALWAYS, and I do mean ALWAYS, bid 1 under the BIN if you're a cheapskate So&So like myself.

Yep I always bid 1 under the BIN if I don't need the card so much that I'm willing to risk losing it to save a few points. Seems like the obvious way it would work.

The problem with pop-ups like this, is that some of us already "know" what they're going to say so we "click first and ask questions later", like "Why did that just happen?"
