Selling mission players

How do you do this when they are locked? I accomplished the mission, played a season or two, and now want to sell so I can start another mission. How do you do this?

They are locked, you can't sell them.

I've been reluctant to cash in on some of my missions (the ones that only give a standard pack) as I'm not convinced I want to have the players locked on my team and an albatross on my inactive list. Maybe some day, but I've been taking it slow.

Most of those missions only need 40-60 rated players. You can just disable them afterwards and consider them invisible. Unless you have OCD, I guess.

You can do as many missions as you want at once, too.

Too much clutter. First I’m trying to get rid of all the duplicated which has been taking a LONG time. Then I may cash in the completed missions.

Stacking duplicates are a nightmare for sure. Nowadays I have learnt to clear them out every week so they won't stack up.

I do and did with my F2P teams, but not with the P2P that purchased cards due to not knowing what would happen with missions. Now it's a total quagmire trying to get through them all. As a result, I've been quick selling the majority but still check first to see what the current auction price is, so that's the slow part. The longer it takes the higher the auction price (above quick sell) has to be to take the trouble to list them.
