I have added these two teams to the Iron level, where they'll be next year. If you're in Iron, now would be a good time to add these two teams to your friends list!

Diamond league update:
Green Lake tears up the competition in the early part of the season to take the lead in the OL standings (and with their limited schedule this season, they could be tough to catch). for the overall picture.... in the NC East, where many times OL teams tear up the competition within the OL ranks, only to struggle against the rest of the league (or vice versa), Green Lake is on a solid run in both cases, sitting atop the division with a NC leading 33-21 record. In the NC Central, Seattle Endless Summer and Roncalli sit in the 2nd and 3rd positions, 3.5 and 5.5 games back respectively; and likewise in the NC West, Seattle Pilots sit 5.5 games back of the division lead in 3rd place. In the AC Central, while Waffletown has struggled against the OL competition in the handful of games played, they have dominated so far against the rest of the league, with a league-best 34-18 record to sit atop the division; and in the AC West, Transylvania sits in 3rd place but only 2 games off the lead. |

anyone have a spare Ival Goodman (all-star, 1938, 71 OVR)?
looking to finish up the 'reds rising' mission and just need one more card.... figure he'd be the most affordable of the remaining cards, but never see him in the AH. |

PS: You don't have to worry about Green Lake, we'll do well in the season and bow out early in the playoffs as is tradition. Kind of like the Washington Capitals or St. Louis Blues... wait... |

Patriots added 83 Jim Gilliam this morning after selling off their first ever diamond+ hitter pull from last night. I love the guy's versatility and he fits right in with our "single you to death" theme that we're apparently going for again.
With Gilliam in the fold, it's the return of "Positive Magus" from vacation! I'm so happy I was able to get him for just 6k.

You just cant go wrong with a Switch hitter that has a 105 Defense at 2B. So that is all it took to get Positive Magus? We should have all donated you that card long ago :-)

I will take the role of Negative Magus like I said I would last season but did not. Goddarn it, Melaka Armada is having a horrible time in this "I am getting serious season". I have reinforced the ships with 88 Hong-Chih Kuo(who I only need to spend an extra 216 to get because I have Wang long time ago; in one word, VALUE!), 87 Tim Raines(thank you Positive Magus for this awesome suggestion; he recorded the first home steal for Armada last season off a ball from Live David Price) and 96 Cesar Cedeno(which is the card I am hunting last weekend) but despite the good performance from all three admirals, the others are not pulling their weight.
This is especially true for my pitching side, which is the side I usually depends on. Most of the time I am top 3-5 on the pitching and then 10 and below on batting(besides speed-related stats). This season I am 10 and below on both ends. Ever since his market price skyrocketed, my Chien-Ming Wang has been bad. Dude's pitching like Wei-Yin Chen with an overpriced contract ever since we got up to Bronze league and opponents are hitting >.300 off him. Maybe 30 stuff is not enough and stuff does serve a purpose or maybe I have had horrible runs with him. All my starting pitchers are getting smashed. Only half my bullpen have a fair ERA of around 3. Two of my defensive wizards, 72 Aurelio Rodriguez and 65 Kazuo Matsui, are hitting below .200 for the first time. I will just chuck it as the law of balance in play, as I have pulled previously-100 Live Mookie Betts, 98 Legend Willie Keeler and 100 Live God of WAR Mike Trout in like about 16-20 packs last Sunday. I was thinking about starting a pool to see if anyone could guess how long it took for Negative Magus to make his triumphant return.... the prize could be something like a brand new, mint condition Connor Joe card (there's plenty of 'em lying around)

You did not register for copyright, so no royalties for ya. And I have all the boats to run away from you anyway until you start asking pirates to help, and they'd probably run away with your money.

That new way to search for all non-live cards really suits us.

Very well. Buck Ewing had 3.4 WAR last season and on pace for 4.3 WAR this season. Much of that probably in stolen bags.
Overall not the most "optimal" use of 50k PP, but it was necessary for my Speed theme and fun for me. |

The speed theme is so damn fun. Set Collins and Hamilton to run wild for m.e.
