"Tap to click" on MacBook Pro trackpad doesn't work

I have "tap to click" enabled on my MacBook Pro, and it usually works in other apps, but it doesn't work in OOTP 20. This problem has persisted in every version of OOTP I've played (OOTP 14 through 20) and across two different MacBook Pros.

This is only an annoyance, but I've found bug reports dating back to 2012 where people have complained about this issue, and evidently it hasn't been addressed. This is a very clicking-intensive game, particularly when you are working on a trade, managing rosters or drafting, and "tap to click" is a bit more pleasant (not to mention quieter!).

Hey Adaman,

I have heard about this issue even with only being on support for half a year. I'll check with our MAC devs to see if they know or have any idea why that would be happening. Can you get me some info while I do that?

-What version of MAC OS are you running?
-Is your OS up to date with the latest drivers and is the game up to date with the latest patch (i'm assuming yes but just in case)

I'll try to be back in touch with more info. The yearly struggle with the MAC trackpad though doesn't bode well since its most likely a MAC OS thing.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting back to me. You're right, it may very well be on Apple's side. I've been a Mac user my entire life, and they're often pretty bad about things like this.

I'm using macOS Mojave (10.14.6) with the latest updates installed. Drivers are automatically kept up-to-date by macOS software updates. I'm using the latest patch for OOTP 20.
