Waived players issue

Whenever I'm playing a standard game with all leagues active, in the NHL, too many high star high potential players get waived. For example, I played as Columbus and in my second year Dallas waived Miro Heiskanen, who was on a sub 1 million dollar contract, was three stars current ability and had 4.5 star potential. And as you continue playing it seems there are constantly high potential players getting waived that should not be.

I'm in year 5 of NHL with all leagues checked. I have never seen anyone above 2 stars being waived as of yet. Perhaps it's just an odd occurrence. But something to keep an eye on. Heck, I make claims on 2 stars players sometimes if the potential is high enough.

If you still have the save and can upload it, I'd like to have a look at that to see if there's an odd cap situation or something similar that's forcing the teams into those moves.
