Four minutes to load?

Win10 machine with plenty of RAM and a relatively modern processor. It takes- consistently- nearly four minutes for OOTP 20 to load. I only have two games saved.

I can't imagine this is the norm? Thoughts on what might be going on?

So I uninstalled, deleted all the files, and reinstalled. After simulating an exhibition series I saved it, closed the program, and restarted. Once again, four minutes to load.

Being curious, I installed OOTP 20 on an older Mac Mini (but with SSD, as my Win10 machine has). I did the same- simulated an exhibition World Series, closed, and restarted. On the Mac, the same delay was not experienced. The program opened in ~20 seconds after loading background files.

So-- does OOTP just run better on Macs vs. PCs?

Also- sound worked perfectly within the game on my Mac Mini - I haven't been able to get it to work on the Win10 installation.
