Can't get back into my saved game

System froze in the middle of shutting down the game (but after it had already saved the previous day's events and moved forward to the next day). Now when I try to go back into the game, it doesn't show a last game played, and doesn't list it among the saved games I can access, even though when you go to "Open Folder" and look under saved games, it's still there. How do I get back to it?

not certain - but the info in this link has helped some with similar problem. hope it works for you ... i couldn't find the link for just restoring from auto save ... but this is close i hope ...

maybe start at #3 in the list? if i recall correctly. at any rate, it's something to try and has worked for some in the past. best of luck.
