Rule 5 Offer Backs

Beyond the fact that in online leagues, Rule 5 offer backs don't work when both teams export - the player ends up as a free agent being released by his original team - there was a potential issue brought to my attention today.

If a team drafts a player, and then signs him to an extension, and then sends him back to the original team, the contract extensions follows that player back to the original team. I do not believe this is a common thing, but it should be addressed as it's a potential huge exploit in online leagues, and in solo.

I believe the extension part of this has been fixed.
