Dog Days Baseball has openings!
Hi All,
UPDATE: It's a great time to jump into this fun and exciting league that has a lot of history and a great group of guys! Playoffs are nearly complete - so now is the best time to pick up a team and shape it during the offseason. I've updated the original post and you can see we have some vacant teams with amazing farm systems and one battling for the championship currently. If you're looking for a fun league, we have openings over in Dog Days Baseball. A fictional league that has been around for 15 years, with 65 seasons of history. HTML: http://www.bemont.sportsrealm.net//D..._100_home.html Rules: http://www.bemont.sportsrealm.net/DogDays/rulesreve.htm Teams currently available are : Seneca Point - #5 farm system Greenwood - #19 farm system, Division winner, LCS runner up (lost in game 7) Red Willow - #3 farm system Cottonwood Washburn Langlade Redsand - #2 farm system Murray Creek - #9 farm system Hinsdale - won 92 games last year, 2nd in division, Jackson City Northampton - won 100 games last year, finished 1st in division, #11 farm system Oakton - won 99 games last year, finished 1st in division, Twin Falls Will work with new GM's to insure they take over a team that has reasonable finances, scouting, etc and isn't starting in too deep a hole. Many of these teams are fairly quick turnarounds with some TLC. We Sim 4 days a week ( Tues - Thurs - Sat - Sun) during the season, more often in the offseason. If you're interested take a peek and let me know if you're interested or have any questions. Last edited by dcaswell67; 02-06-2020 at 08:45 AM. |

Really fun and unique league
This is a fictional league with a great backstory and tons of history. There are a lot of unique and interesting elements. For example, each of the teams has a slightly different focus (power hitting, defense, etc.) that translates into park design, player development, etc. It really helps you get immersed in your team and makes it different than any of the other leagues I've been in.
DDB has been around a long time but is going through some transition. We're starting to use slack as a primary means of communication, updating how drafting works, etc. IMO these are all huge positives. Zero drama, lots of nice/good GMs (many of whom have been in the league for years), a fun history and backdrop, organized but not a ton of overly-stringent rules you can never remember, and a great commish who is both very reliable and focused on communicating consistently. If you're interested in a fictional league, this is a great one to check out. Dave Blackwood Werewolves |

Great league which has lost some older owners due to switching from message board to the slack app. Going on over 3 years in the league now, If you’re looking for a organized and most importantly active league this is the one.
