Injury/Pinch Runner Bug

I'm not sure if this a bug or perhaps some kind of an illegal switch I am trying to pull. But hear me out...

OOTP 20
Historical Mode
I am playing with the DH

It goes down like this. ...

1) In the top of the 8th LF Solly Hoffman hits a double and injures himself on the play.
2) Ted Williams is my DH. I remove the DH and make him my LF.
3) It automatically moves Pitcher Tom Gorman into Solly Hoffman's spot. So I'm thinking he should be the pinch runner.

However, it keeps saying my lineup isn't complete. Williams is my LF. Gorman is the runner in Hoffman's spot. I have forfeited the DH. I should be good here, right ? I even tried moving position player Gene Demontreville in as a pinch runner/pitcher and still ran into the same thing. "Your lineup is not complete" or something along those lines. Is this a bug ?

...and I apologize, this probably shouldn't be under Perfect Team Bug Report but rather OOTP 20 - Technical Support. Didn't realize there were two bug report pages.
