Activating a Player

I am continually frustrated by the game stopping me from playing with the message "The Detroit Tigers have a player on the IL who has to be activated", but I cannot find any way of activating him. The simplest thing I can do is release the player, just to keep playing. This will obviously deplete my team, so if anyone can help a newbie like me that would be great.
If a simple way of doing this does not exist, then I will uninstall the game and confine it to my dustbin folder on Steam.

Without more info, I assume you have to make room for him on your roster.

You can drag the player onto your active roster

You can right click on the player, go to transactions, and move the player onto you active roster

If you can't do that, as maineyankee said, you may need to move another player off of the roster to make room. You can never have more than 25 (or 26 or whatever you have it set as) players on your active roster. So, if your roster is full, you can't add another player
