International Players Not Returning

Hello, I was the GM of the USA team during the World Cup, and after the tournament ended, the players that were on the USA roster have not returned to their NHL team.

It appears that all of the other players from the other teams have become available, but the USA rostered players still show as "INT". I have been trying to look for a way to force them back, but I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.

I also cannot find how to get back to the roster menu, as it doesn't show me as GM of team USA anymore.

The USA (and Canadian) GM's are always replaced after a major tournament, that's why you can't change the roster, but I don't think it would work in this case.

The simplest way to fix their status is (if you're not playing in challenge mode) to enter commissioner mode (in Manager-options), then go to each player's edit screen, click on retired, save it, and then unclick retired and save it again. You'll need to re-enter their current team and contracted team, but that'll remove the INT marker so they can play for their teams again.

Will this issue happen every time I take an International role? Will this issue be fixed?

No, that's not normal - we occasionally get a report of it happening, but haven't been able to narrow down the cause yet.

Would it help for me to ZIP my game files up for you to debug?

It won't tell us much since it's already happened, but if one of your rolling saves is from prior to the end of the tournament (they're in the rs_one and rs_two folders, just copy them into a new folder with the .lg extension in your save folder and you'll be able to open them like a normal save to see), that would definitely be useful.

It looks like my rs_one folder had a save right at the end of the tournament, but since I am still considered GM of team USA, I'm assuming it hasn't ended yet.

Do I need to ZIP the whole folder? I remember there was an FTP process to send you guys stuff. How do you want these sent now?

Instructions are pinned at the top of this forum. Delete the graphics folder before you zip it though, that'll shrink the file size.

I pushed the file to the FTP, it is named "Detroit.lg.zip"

Perfect, I advanced it a day and everyone except the American players had their INT status reset. This should let us find the problem, thanks.
