Can I rest all history records and build it myself?

Alright so I feel like a kid in a candy store with what i am ready

So here is my big question, Well two questions

1- Lets say I want to start playing in the first year in the game. 1871? Can I have all the mlb records reset so as I go year by year I get to set all the league records through the season I play?

2- And if so do i each year just go into the next year with the updated rosters or is that a choice?

I want to rest all the mlb records, wins, home runs , etc. Then I want to play each season and have it total it all up but with the rosters being the way they should be as i advance to the next year but all under the same save. If that makes sense.

Thanks man do you know what option I have to select to have the rosters be current each year ? Cause I imagine the team I start with in 1871 will not be who I use when the Mets come into exsistence

Depends how want to play exactly.

Enable historical transaction to have players/lineups as they were in each game or you can have players just appear on the team they originally played for by disabling draft and check historical tab (settings) if you want to retire players as per history.

Here is what I want to do exactly and hopefully you can tell me

I want to start at the farthest year away from current the game allows and each yeah have all the roster updated to what they were for that year with all stats reset and no trades since each year the players just go to there correct teams. I also want to be able to change what team I play with each season.

So to recap in the event I confused you

1- can I change teams each year ? Say go one year from Mets to the Yankees next year ? In the same league

2- can I have it set to where every move made during a season copies how it was done in real life ?

3 how do I reset history books when I start?

4- I want to have the rosters legit each season and just update themselves so no draft basically at all

1. Yes you can change teams each year. Simply quit your current job. Enable commissioner mode, and then all jobs will then be available to you.

2. see the user manual here for historical wizard guide. make sure you have real transactions and real lineups checked on.

3. If you uncheck Import complete history then you you will not have any history to start. Otherwise, you can go to Game >Settings > option to clear full league history.
