Buying on site vs Steam

What is the difference between the two?

Number of computers you can install on.
Amount of sale developer receives.

In other games with a MUCH smaller saved file the cloud save Steam function is great. If I remember it is not available for OOTP. If I am wrong them that would be a substantial benefit for some users.

i think steam allows you to install on unlimited computers + the obvious use of being able to "trade" the game as an asset

OOTP only allows two licenses but yes, more money for the devs
