Minimize game = Screen goes blank (This issue was present in 20 as well).

Hi,
So apparently when minimizing/switching/tabbing to another window the game it loves to suddenly become unable to be interacted with and the entire game window is a blank white window. This repeatedly happening lead to me dropping last year's game in constant frustration of hours of lost time/gameplay in between manual/autosaves. NOW I see the same issue rearing itself again this year.

I just made a bug report regarding one issue on team histories, and go back to just going back to play the game and get my favorite issue with 20 that I hadn't encountered yet in the couple times I'd been playing so far greet me.

I genuinely have to ask if OOTP has even been made aware of this issue this year or last? I can't imagine a frustrating issue like this not being mentioned if someone else active on here has had it happen, and given how consistently it has occurred (almost every single time I played 20) when trying to enjoy the game I find that hard to believe others haven't had it happen. This issue didn't happen to me one single time in 16-19 so I'm totally confused why this has become a rampant issue in 20 and 21 now.

Please, with all genuine sincerity and goodwill on my end I ask you look into this, as this makes the game genuinely unplayable. I'd rather have CTD on startup than this as at least then I'm not sinking hours upon hours of my time for nothing. Genuinely frustrated here after having dropped to go buy 21 after telling myself I wouldn't with the same issue ruining several evenings last year.

We're aware of it, but as far as I know it's a super rare issue that seem to only happen on certain systems. We've never been able to reproduce it on a test system, so have no real way of figuring out a fix for it. What are your system specs? Especially OS/Video card type.

One possible workaround on your end would be to play the game in windowed mode (or in full screen if the crashing is happening in windowed) as usually using the other mode will stop this from happening again, in my limited experience.
