Does anyone know what's going on with the pics/info links on the stadium listings? Many are returning 'file not found' - not only on Silvam's list but others' as well.

Wow! I never even heard about this tool. That's pretty darn cool... There's always something new and interesting when it comes to OOTP.

The forum address changed. Those links are to posts.. but have the old ootpdevelopments.com/board URLs instead of the new forums.ootpdevelopments.com

... So all of the links across the forum are now broken?

EDIT: Should clarify - I think all of the links to POSTS on the forum may now be broken. Not the links to the actual files hosted off the boards.

Worst case scenario, I suppose I could just reinstall OOTP 21 and it should default all the ootp supplied stadiums. Luckily, I'm on a road trip at the moment.

I figured out how to have the 1988 Yankee Stadium or any stadium installed & available. I don't know how the heck I messed things up. And I also figured out how to copy that camera view I like so much into any mod stadium. Looks like I've got some stadiums to install! woohoo!

I appreciate all the hard work getting these stadiums put together.

Oh...One more thing... The mod stadiums that you've created for the community - how did you determine the park factors for the fields? Did you have to research the number of triples, doubles, etc. hit in that particular park compared to the league average? Or did you kind of guesstimate the park factors some other way? Just curious...That's all. Again, thanks!!
I would suggest not overwriting the 21 ballparks. If you load the .prk file that has the park factors.

did you overwrite the file in the ballparks folder? Old yankee should be in the models folder within the ballparks folder. I have 190 parks that I use in 3 different leagues.

Also there are various sites that offer ballpark factors and i want to say this is still on Add ons Central.

Would it be possible for you to provide a mod for the 1979-1999 version (or split into a 1979-1992 version)? The solid-green outfield fences and bleachers were added for the 1993 season but there was just a chain-link fence until 1992, minus the bleachers and the extra NFL seats attached to the upper deck in center field you delightfully added in the 1993+ version.

This view I describe can be mostly obtained by using your 1970-78 version, but that one is only with the Astroturf field. Also the capacity was 62,000 at that time, so with attendance at 'full' the upper deck should have fans all around.

Much appreciated!

Candlestick park is one of the few parks remaining of mine that I actually imported from the 3D warehouse and made the changes internally to look good in OOTP.

Given that, and with your feedback, I decided to create candlestick from the ground up on my own (even thought I thought the first model was excellent)

I just finished the 1993 version of the park and now I am going to work my way backwards to the other versions. Probably easier work that way.

Anyway, here is the 1993 version to check out. I put more detail than I had previously. Hope you like it

Thanks. Yeah, I only overwrote Yankee Stadium. It was the very first one I did and I goofed, clearly. All of the others are installed properly. I appreciate the information about checking websites with Park Factors. I had no idea they existed until Luckymann showed me a website yesterday. I've heard of add-on central, but I have no idea what the heck it is. Is it a website? I know I've googled the term before but I didn't have any success. I'm kind of stupid though, so maybe I missed it. Again, thank you for taking the time to help!

I created my own scoreboard in photoshop for the first time based on one from Candlestick I assume in the late 80's

I think it came out pretty good.

I added a 1979-1992 version of Candlestick with the Chain Link Fence and grass. As pointed out previously, I only had the chain link fence withthe Turf. Some other cosmetic changes in this version.

Enjoy!

I didn't create those. I believe Garlon included the stadiums that come with the game for those

I'm big on scoreboards. I think they add so much to a ballpark. A lot of ballparks, it's part of their identity. Very nicely done by you.

That scoreboard looks great.... as always your work is greatly appreciated. I just love how your parks seem to just draw me in.

I have actually created a league that I never play games in... I just use it to load / view / take tours of your ballparks! I have already lost more than one Saturday morning by just jumping in and out of your parks - Love them all!!!

Thanks again!

Right- It says OOTP model for all the present day parks on that list- however, Globe Life Park is just the basic generic park when used in the game, it is definitely not the real thing...does anybody have the actual mod that looks like the real deal?

Thanks
Swede
