Looking for advice for PT.

I'm looking for some player advice on improving a team. I was lucky enought to pick up a Verlander Detroit peak 100 card in a pack. Is it better to keep that player for the future of your pitching staff, or to sell it to purchase 3 or 4 players that can help your team right away? I am currently at the Bronze Level. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well that is a nice pull from a pack. I would suggest holding onto him and making him your Staff Ace for a while at least. Sure, you could sell him and pick up some more talent to fill multiple positions and depending on the makeup of your team that may be beneficial. Starting pitching is expensive for a reason though and unless you think you might be able to jump up several more league levels in the immediate future, I would hang onto him. Concentrate on defensive minded players especially at SS & CF and see how other players that are within your perfect points budget perform in your league. Ask yourself if the person you are about to snag off the auction block is really worth "X" amount more than another less flashy player on the auction block or the person you are trying to replace on your team. When you have limited points to spend its really important to make sure you get the most bang for your buck.

I am not an expert by any means, but from someone who always finishes top 3 in my gold league in runs scored but last in pitching, and end up well out of the playoffs most times...keep the ace...they are hard to get

There are ACES out there in the 3000-5000 PP price to bring that last place pitching up a lot. They are Gold Pitchers...Gotta look for them. Some even play well in Diamond. But keep in mind playing well and having all the best cards is a big difference making playoffs or winning it all...
