Manager Ratings
I pay a reasonable amount of attention to the coaches in my fictional league (probably way more than I should) including tagging players who might be good coaches after they retire.
But I have a question in case there is anyone else who digs this deeply into the games underbelly. How strong is the relationship between ratings and actual performance?
I don't usually check ratings until after I hire, but the correlation between extremely high, say Teach Hitting and Handle Players ratings and being a successful coach. And I've seen guys whose overall rating is Great or better but who have below average ratings.
I'm also curious how much impact the minor-league coaches really have on prospect development.
