Owen Sound outshoots Sarnia 43-21 in Game 3 but Bradley Langrill makes 41 saves in net for Sarnia and Marlon Baptiste scores two goals including the OT winner as the Sting take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.
Some lineup adjustments were made to try to ignite the offence and it seemed to have worked but Langrill had a massive game. Misin was left in net and had another mediocre performance. Langrill is definitely having a much better series than Misin. Owen Sound on the ropes...... |

Owen Sound decides to put Isaiah Pitcairn in net for Game 4 to try to reverse their fortunes and stop the bleeding.
Unfortunately, it didn't help as the Sarnia Sting SWEEP the Owen Sound Attack in 4 games! Sarnia wins Game 4 convincingly 4-1. Heading into the series, most OHL observers thought this series would go the distance but a sweep of the defending champs is simply a shocker. |

Peterborough pulls off another upset defeating North Bay 4-1.
The Petes (32-28-8) now face Sarnia (38-25-5) in the OHL Finals. I don't think anyone expected this to be the OHL final prior to the beginning of the playoffs. |

The Calgary Hitmen have once again won the WHL Championship with a 4 game sweep of the Vancouver Giants in the final. Will anyone stop the Hitmen from winning back-to-back Memorial Cup championships??? |

The Calgary Hitmen have won BACK-TO-BACK Memorial Cup championships. The Hitmen cruised to the title with a 5-0 victory over Sarnia in the final.
Unbelievable accomplishment for them, what an outstanding team over the last two years! |

How is Calgary so good?
133 goals against in the regular season is nutty. |

Not too sure. I mean they have a good lineup and their goalies are decent but for some reason they play stellar defence. The goalie stats over the last two years are insanely good. Maybe something in the team tactics they are using or just hidden game ratings for their players. Big changes with Owen Sound for 2026-27. Andrey Misin has been traded to Mississauga. A bunch of players have left for NHL so we will see how the season goes. A bit of a rebuild this year but I'm still hoping to be competitive. Sigrist, Chalmers, MacDermid, Schoenroth, Dietrich, Bignell, Bostrom and White all gone. I play in commissioner mode so it gets to the point where some of these guys are just too good for OA years so I have them go to the NHL. Bostom and White did not want to resign with me as OA's for some reason, not too sure why lol. Jakub Beran is the big addition to this years squad. Beran was a 2025 CHL Import Pick, only 17 years old and is a dominant offensive player. In order to fit him in as a Euro, we had to make the blockbuster trade of Misin. Beran and Tomas Marsalek will now form a deadly Czech duo together on the second line. Last edited by blink; 07-14-2020 at 10:55 AM. |

Yeah I do too. Life has gotten in the way the last month. I coach Little League baseball so we have been playing games and practices since end of July. I've also had some other personal life stuff going on as well which has prevented me from playing FHM much at all. I do miss it though, funny how addicted you can become to fictional OHL players. I've been playing OOTP20 a bit lately but definitely want to get back into FHM. I think the break has been good for me but I'm ready to start back up with Owen Sound here soon. I was actually looking over my roster the other night contemplating line combos and defence pairs. I'm still watching your Barrie dynasty videos, watched the latest episode yesterday. Awesome work as always! If I had the time and the software, I'd probably be doing the same thing as you lol. |

Wow, that's awesome. Part of why I love the game so much is keeping track of former players and what they are currently doing in the game. Nice to see some OHL alum have some great NHL success. |

Bit of an update here finally as I've started to play a bit again, been switching between this and OOTP.
2026-27 Season: After a 52-16-0-104 point regular season performance, Owen Sound suffered another OHL playoff heartbreak, losing in 4 straight to the Hamilton Bulldogs in the OHL finals. Spokane went on to win the Memorial Cup led by their stud defenceman, Robert Mayer. 2027-28 Season: Jakub Beran, Louis-Charles Landry and Conner Sarjeant led the way as Owen Sound finished up the regular season with a 50-15-3-103 regular season record. We swept Guelph and Erie 4 straight in the first two series. Won the West final over Flint in 7 games and defeated the #1 East seed Niagara IceDogs in 6 games to claim the OHL crown. Back to the Memorial Cup dance we went. In the Memorial Cup, we faced off against the host Lethbridge, Blainville-Boisbrand and of course the defending Memorial Cup champs, Spokane, again led by Mayer who decided to come back as a 19 year old to dominate once again. We defeated Blainville-Boisbrand in the Memorial Cup final, 5-2 to finally claim the trophy in 2027-28! 2028-29 season may feature a bit of a rebuild for Owen Sound but we will see if we can claim our 7th straight 100 point regular season in a row. |
