Novice in need of help downloading online league file

Hey guys, I'm newer to Ootp and just started playing ootp 21 this year with some friends. I have no issues downloading the file at home, however at work it gets stuck on the part where it says downloading league file and gives me error could not download file. I'm not sure if it's the internet speed(very slow at work) that's a major difference between the two of the fact it's a public network. However in the past I've been able to download the file at work with my old piece of crap laptop. This one is a new asus gaming laptop and it only wants to work at home:/. I tried changing the ftp online league settings nothing changed. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
