Resetting Rosters to Actual MLB Rosters at Season's End
I posted this several years ago, but want to see if anything has changed that could help me with how I like to run my league. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I want to start a league and run through the full season, making trades along the way. The statistics and league history will obviously accumulate throughout the season. Before I start the next season, I would like to "reset" all rosters to where the actual major league rosters are at the start of that season and continue on with season #2. Any recommendations on how I can do this? My goal is essentially to play the 2020 season, but before the 2021 season begins, I want to essentially re-set the league with all of the new players and current players on new teams thorughout MLB and the minor league systems. Thoughts here? Again, much appreciated. |

Are you looking for an automated system? You can download the transaction to a web browser then use that to go back in commissioner mode and manually move the players back.

Yeah - something automated or, if possible, a way to clear out each team and then import the new rosters. Again, not sure if it’s possible. I was hoping there was a function to essentially “update rosters” to current status but I don’t believe it’s possible.
