More evidence. Today's Athletic article. They polled NHL GMs and coaches to put all NHL goalies in tiers. 1-5 with Tier 1 the best.

Even with only 12 NHL games they have Shesterkin as #12, Tier 2, top of the league 2.23 average tier rating. And that's right now, not even projection.

This was very noticeable in FHM 6 too. Shesterkin was elite last year already. Limited sample size of course so I'm not saying he should be ranked as that right away, but give him elite-level potential for sure. Looking at scouting reports, expert opinions and his stats it's just weird that's not the case.

Check out Shesterkin's GAA and SV% compared to other goalies with at least 10 games played this year.
