Hmm, my friends list is capped at 30 friends, not 50 as the original post indicates. Did I miss an option to expand it to 50? Right now I don't have room for a handful of OL teams.
Also, do I need to put myself on my friends list? lol. OOTP seems to permit it, and my name came up when I searched for OL, but I'm guessing it's unnecessary.

OK to switch my team from Paper St. to Project Mayhem? already, foolishly, locked in a Diamond Live. ALL my teams are F2P. was looking pretty good there too, disappointing.

You don't have to use the diamond live. You can lock in whatever you want to complete collections.

Yeah, pretty sure 30 is the limit on the friends list. Just focus on the teams that will be in your tier next week and get them first. Any extra space can be used for teams one tier above/below to cover them as best we can for pro/rel movement.

Thanks for your replies. OK, I'll focus on adding managers at and around my level and revising that each Sunday. (And yes, I did check the 2nd page of my friends list. The cap is 30.)

up to you which team(s) you want to be in the OL group.... you can have Live cards in your collection, like Magus said, just not on the active 26 man roster....

Hey guys, haven't posted much because I'm pretty sure you don't want to hear me repeatedly complain about how terrible Annandale is so far. But hello nevertheless.
I have had pretty mediocre pack luck. I've gotten a few gold and silver players, and purchased a couple more, but regardless I'm getting the snot kicked out of me in the Entry Pool. At least my roster is fully OL compliant so I'm ready to go for next week! I spent most of the PP I got from selling my live cards on packs, theorizing that I'd eventually get a player or two worth using.... you can guess how THAT turned out! I have to admit that it wasn't until this week that I realized you could enter 3 tournaments (plus the PD of course) with EACH of your PT teams. I thought you could only enter 3 tournaments total. Which is why I only ran tournaments with Brigadoon last year....don't know how I missed that. As a result I did create a Bronze tournament team - still tweaking it but it might do ok (not much so far though!). But aside from that, the cupboard is bare. I've got my twitch drops linked to my other team but I think I'm going to switch it back and forth weekly so Annandale can get some of those free packs they give away. It hasn't helped THAT team but hey, eventually my ship will come in! Just to remind everyone, I'm in Entry Pool this week, and like everyone else in Entry Pool I will be promoting to Rookie next week. So I will see you all there. |

Thanks. I'll stick with Paper St. It will make it easier being my screen name here. already started to purge the lives from my roster. I love the challenge, just wish I hadn't locked in a live Diamond so early because I could really use that 4-5K. this should be interesting. good luck all.

This could only happen on April Fools Day ... last year I won ZERO Daily Tournaments, and today I just now won the Daily Bronze Cap and have 3 Historical Packs sitting on my account!!!

As we come to the end of the first week
As I suspected, purging my live players hasn't hurt my earnings much, if at all. It has helped my opponents. Just lost a game 26-0. Ah, well. Sure I'll be starting in rookie with the Atom Smashers. Decided this year to just ignore special editions from the get go, hoping to build a team that's fun for me no matter what level we settle at. I'll probably wave at the OLers as they pass me by.
Gonna hold onto my points for now until I can use them for a Willie Mays. Will open what packs I get from tourneys and ride with that. Just hope they get hot soon. There are 41 collections that have pack rewards, so those will be the only collections I'll take a look at. I only hope Willie doesn't get just a single card that's a special edition. Some OL housekeeping. A crown is awarded only in those leagues that have at least four OL teams and at least two of those four have to have 10 or more games played. Teams that play less than 10 OL games are not eligible for a crown. World Series badges/patches are awarded based on an OL team's play in the PT playoffs, so you could gain a patch even if you are the only OL team in a league during a particular week, so please report your winning result by Sunday afternoon. My thanks to those who have posted their logos. Please post yours if you haven't. |

Stanley, I don’t know if it’s true this year but last year it was possible to complete collections and sell the rewards and make a lot of PP from that activity. Last year one of my teams sold every single collection reward account because I didn’t want to use the SE cards myself and I think I ended up making 150,000 PP all told.
It will be possible when the collection frenzy dies down in the cards get a little cheaper so maybe not possible now but I’m sure will be able to do that before the years out. |

Yeah, I see what you mean. I just don't want to spend the time at the outset. I'm guessing later on, once I've accumulated some of the cards needed from pulls. |

Barons extend lead in Rookie
Baltimore is building the buffer they hold in OL R142, as their lead bulges, now over 2nd place Shoebox. The former 2nd place Brewers had a rough month, falling to the middle of the pack. However, the Brewers and Barons face off in a critical 3-game series this month.

Stone 156
The standings remain virtually unchanged, with Ostego completing their season-sweep of Gettysburg, while Hartford and South Holland were idle. The Whalers and El Caminos begin the day with a 3-game series in South Holland, and will complete their OL schedule with another 3-game set tomorrow at Whalers Ballpark.
As previously noted, Hartford and South Holland are playing for the title, as Ostego and Gettysburg will be ineligible due to a lack of OL games played. |

Hi everyone,
Posting for the 6th(?) day straight. I hope you folks are not getting bored to death with my writing, but I've had the time and it helps me get more personal with my teams.
I've also been reading your posts and I've obviously handling my teams differently. I've been running Perfect Drafts as much as possible (2 wins so far) and selling all my Reserve cards to generate PPs to reinvest in better players. I know there will come a time when I might have to change that strategy, but it seemed to me (at least in the beginning) a stronger early team would earn more PPs which could be accumulated later for other options. I'd be very curious as to your opinions. I guess there isn't any confirmed way to know what approach is better. I'm learning that as I play Perfect Draft one after the other and find out the better team(s) often lose for nothing more than bad luck in the games themselves. The one thing I DO like about Perfect Team is the competition is much more even than we're use to ![]() Ok, off my soapbox. |
