I think that's it for the crowns for 2025
I believe that's all we had this season. I will check back later, hopefully with some PT playoff awards.
I have a question which I think reveals how little I read the fine print. I won a daily Perfect Draft tourney while I was in stir, and got a special edition Kevin Gross diamond. I don't see him those on special edition mission lists, so it makes me think I'm not quite certain what OOTP means by special edition. Does that mean, like, any card that doesn't come in a pack, or are they in packs? Thanks for any help. |

so busy with the end of season wrap up and playoff prep that I failed to notice this little gem:
Final regular season game of the year, Mark Langston hurls a no hitter (1 walk away from a perfect game) |

Crakes-Perfectos series
[QUOTE=Quinta;4780322]In a very surprising and frankly lucky development the Helthwyzer Crakes have bolstered their playoff roster with Jimmy "Chicken" Wolf.
Perfectos fans release an audible sigh of disappointment at the news of Chicken Wolf (several derisive cheers come to mind that we may employ during the series). Less impressively, the Perfectos used the last of their Cesar Tovar sweepstakes to employ Mule Suttles, St. Louis Stars' legend. After missing the OL crown to the Crakes by one game, the Stars are motivated to pull an upset in this series. |

FYI, both Waffletown and Carnegie Hall advance to the sub-league series in Bronze OL. The possibility of an all-OL series still exists --- if they both win their sub-league series.

Congrats to Algona on an exciting win in OL Stone! I'm glad we Red Sox gave you a run for your money. It was a thrilling season in Stone 168. Alas, my Sox lost their divisional series, 3 games to 1, and we're now just hoping some of our players will pick up some hardware. Er, does PT award MVPs and Cy Young awards and such?

Hey Jason, a question about the spreadsheet. It seems to indicate that we are in 2026 with this season, while the PT season for B235 is 2025. Am I reading something wrong? Thanks. |

Syrups fall short, leaving Cary to carry the OL banner in the WS. Good luck Southpaws! |

My teams have had incredible crazy luck in OOTP 22 so far. Southpaws have won the series each of their three seasons before this one, and once again go to the finals. Carnegie Hall has been to the final series in every one of their previous four seasons (winning three of them) and once again go to the finals. It is so wierd, I am in a fog.
Maybe they won't win the finals this year... otherwise, they might run out of ribbon (in the sig) before long.

Somers ballpark is heavy towards the left handed offense... tried to make sure my two lefty starters pitched there to force his right handed batters into the lineup... only managed to take 1 of 3 games there, but that was more a matter of my bullpen imploding |

PT Playoffs so far
Here's what I've been able to gather from the universe screen in PT. It sometimes lags for teams in other leagues.
R-78 - Gear Terrace was tied 3-3 in the semi-finals. They are the only team promoted. Daytona Beach, Sunday, and Burnside remain in rookie. If they are somehow joined by Asheboro next season, there could be a crown there. ST186 - Algoma in finals. Algoma, Boston, and Baltimore all going to Iron. Left Coast, Shoebox, Shinbone, Keystone, New York, and Gettysburg all remain in stone. No relegations I202 - Lemp Ave only team still alive in PT playoffs. Perfectos, Anandale, HelthWyzer, South Holland, Inland Empire, and Silly all are going to bronze. Boulder City, Bluffton, Hartford, Route 66, and West Burlington all staying in iron. No relegations. B235 - Cary is down 1-0 in finals. Cary, Cedar Rapids, and Waffletown headed to silver. Coney Island, Las Vegas, Nowhere, Port Ruppert, and Sugar Hill remain in bronze. Cleveland going to iron. S272 - Otsego Lake staying in silver. S278 - Paxville and Texarkana both going to gold. This is as complete as I can get it right now. The promotions and relegations should be final, but I suppose it is moot given the friends list snafu. Hope to see a couple of our OL teams getting some PT hardware. Sad News
Cary has bowed out in six in B235. Maybe the signature block speculation was a jinx.

Penguins win Stone 186 with strong pitching from Mark Langston in Game 6. Homers from Nomar Garciaparra and Bob Allison were the difference in the 2-0 finals win. Perry Field went crazy as the team and fans headed to Roustabout to celebrate!

end of year hardware:
Waffletown batters claim four slots for the Platinum Stick award (Slaughter, Garciaparra, Trammell, and Wilson)... and Enos Slaughter claims the MVP award for his Triple Crown year. |
